Physicians United for Patients Campaign

Thirteen medical acadamies, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology, have launched a multi-state public outreach campaign in opposition to the current healthcare reform bill in the United States Senate, the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.” As part of the Physicians United for Patients coalition, the American Academy of Otolaryngology issued print and radio advertisements in key states, urging constituents to tell their Senators to vote “No” on the current healthcare reform bill.
